  The e-STUDIO 280 brings the functionality, usability and the finishing power of mid-volume MFDs within reach of the traditional low volume user. These new models deliver outstanding features and capabilities to smaller office operations or self-contained small workgroups within larger organisations ideal for users who perhaps don?t require the sheer volume and throughput of more conventional mid-range systems, but would appreciate a system matching the latest industry standards in network and environmental technology, multifunctionality and expandability in a quiet, convenient, connectable and cost effective package.
  
  Smooth Operator
  The e-STUDIO280 employs a large, easy to read 1/2 VGA display and an ergonomically designed control panel. Meeting the guidelines of the 1995 Disability Discrimination Act, the adjustable panel is simple to follow and guides users through any process clearly and quickly.
  
  Flexible Finishing
  The e-STUDIO280 offers a battery of finishing options normally only found on much higher volume systems. Job separator trays can sort your copy/print and fax documents independently. A stapler/sorter option offers twin bins with a 900-sheet capacity. The all new compact floor-standing saddle stitch finisher allows multi-position stapling of up to 50 sheets as well as a saddle stitch function (fold and double stapling) to produce finished booklets of up to 40 pages. A cleverly designed hole punch is also available when using this option. This unit sits inside the finisher and so does not enlarge the footprint of the machine.
  
  Full Functionality
  A range of enhanced operating features will save you time and money. Easy to use pre-defined templates eliminate the need to manually select and confirm every single step required for frequent jobs. Customised scanning, copying and faxing for complex jobs are simple one-step, one-touch, operations. This ease of use delivers the full benefits of the system?s 23/28 copies/prints per minute performance (even in duplex mode).
  
  The embedded e-FILING capability allows you to send and save documents (copied, printed or scanned at 50 spm/300dpi) to the e-FILING box - your own "electronic filing cabinet". Stored documents can be manipulated or retrieved using simple icon-driven one-touch buttons on the control panel or via a web browser. Existing or combined documents can be output or distributed to any user-selected destination, therefore large and complex sets of documents can be easily managed.
  
  Genuine print on demand!
  All these powerful functions, normally only found on mid-range MFD systems, are simple to use and set up, saving you effort, time, cost and aggravation.
  
  Total Cost and Environmental Efficiency Hardware and software advances have slashed the total costs of ownership by improving performance and reliability and minimising waste and environmental impact. An all-new fusing system results in energy saving and an incredibly fast 25 second warm up. A Zero Toner Waste System with 100% toner recycling means clean and efficient continuous operation. No need for a waste toner reservoir so the toner supply is larger than usual. All delivered in one of the quietest units in its class designed for low noise and low ozone emissions.

  e-BRIDGE and the e-STUDIO280 support WiFi, accepted as the leading standard for wireless LAN in business environments. Wireless connectivity simplifies installation and location, especially if your office layout is flexible and subject to frequent change or if your premises are difficult to cable. The addition of a Scrambler Board will enhance security with high-level encryption and deliver all the benefits of wireless connectivity without the risk of "leakage or eavesdropping".

  Toshiba?s unique e-BRIDGE Controller technology means your system is fully enabled as a genuine multifunctional device (copy, print, internet-fax, scan) from the start. No need to buy upgrade boards or additional hardware. Just plug in simple "enabler keys" and you can activate those functions (print only, scan only or print and scan) as you require them.
