Canon Releases New IR Adv 4000 Photocopier Series
Canon has been renewing its A3 mono photocopier range
with the addition of the iR Advance 4000
series, namely iR4025i, iR4035i,
and iR4051. The new models were officially launched in early May 2012 to
replace the nearly sold out iR 32xx series. From this perspective it will
become increasingly difficult to find photocopy machines like iR3225N, iR3245,
iR3245N on sale as most resellers do not have them in stock and Canon is unable
to fulfil extra orders.
Canon made a habit out of creating innovative colour displays for easy user interaction and IR Advance 4025i comes equipped with a customisable 8.4” menu interface. Duplex scanning and send capabilities are integrated with powerful integration into business applications. The paper tray can hold up to 4980 paper sheet by default turning paper refill into a rare occurrence. It is always important to have a decent base price with the option to customise and enhance the photocopier model as per individual office requirements.
A certain particularity of the new modular design from Canon features printing and copy/scan separation. While printing is available by default, this versatile MFP requires a Duplex Colour Image Reader Unit in order to scan and copy documents. Modular design and feature-sharing capability means you do not pay for unnecessary features. In this regard Canon iR 4025i has a wide range of finishers and accessories available, ready to turn it into the all-in-one office printing champion. Options include 2 x 550-sheet cassette, drum unit, 1x waste toner, UFRII/PCL printing capabilities, Network Pull Scan, colour 8.4inch x 21.3.cm touch screen display, E-RDS, Meap and IPSEC.
Cost control is one of the main aspects to be considered when dealing with total costs of ownership. Canon iR Adv 4000 series have been designed for the exact purpose of increased productivity for mono printing. User based reporting compliments print quotas, makes possible to impose restrictions and redirection via Canon’s patented software uniFLOW. Users can enjoy the modular resource sharing capabilities which blend in perfectly with efficient monitoring and management capabilities.
Device and information security has always been a prime area of concern for Canon and the new iR4000 series are no exception. On a network level there is the standard IP and MAC address filtering. Pre-emptive countermeasures for hard disk data loss are in place through mirroring, while information is also being encrypted. Looking forward to photocopy machine replacement, the hard disk erase utility allows for a quick and effective alternative to disk punchers in a successful attempt to remove sensitive data.
The iR Advance 4000 series signature comes from the very flexible core build which allows for a multitude of customisation options. Print speed has a very generous range, from 25ppm with Canon iR 4025i, to an impressive 51 ppm of Canon iR 4051i, suitable for larger organisations. Busy workgroups everywhere will enjoy enhanced document workflow whilst safeguarding confidential information and reducing environmental impact.
