  The TravelMate TimeLine offers businesses a chance to reduce their carbon footprint. With the Acer PowerSmart adapter which stops taking power when the battery is full, businesses can save up to 66% of the power they consume by having their notebooks plugged in and in sleep mode, the equivalent of 2,320 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year. It is also certified for EPEAT silver, Energy Star 5.0, WEEE and ROHS.

By redesigning the way the notebook is cooled, Acer have managed to produce a notebook who's base in 5oc cooler than a standard notebook, meaning business users can once again use it from their lap.
